Friends of HOPE Cape Town Trust

Friends of HOPE Cape Town are circles in different parts of the world assisting HOPE Cape Town in different ways and being an ambassador for HOPE in their respective environment. They feel connected and want to be associated with the cause of HOPE Cape Town in their unique ways.

In Munich / Germany the first circle of friends for HOPE Cape Town Trust has been established. A word from the Chairperson of the Freundeskreis HOPE Cape Town Trust:

HIV/AIDS especially impacts children, the most vulnerable members of human society. In Southern Africa, thousands of children are infected daily with HIV. In many places, an entire generation has been wiped out, with grandparents assuming the responsibility for the care and upbringing of many orphans. These children, most of whom do not receive medical treatment, are increasingly being left on their own. Providing them with medications is usually not possible due to a lack of funds.

In order, among other things, to help these children, we founded on 5 November 2012 our association; its purpose is to provide long-term financial support to the HOPE Cape Town Trust. Moreover, the work of our association aims to increase the awareness of the HIV/AIDS issue in Cape Town and the Western Cape in order to find additional sponsors, donors and partners for HOPE Cape Town Trust.

The goal of our project is to provide hope and an opportunity for a better future in South Africa to children affected by HIV/AIDS.
