Thank you for considering making a donation to HOPE Cape Town.

HOPE Cape Town can be supported in many different ways, but all types of support help us to provide a sustainable and effective response to the HIV/AIDS pandemic. Although our work focuses on HIV/AIDS, we also provide interventions for Tuberculosis and general health issues in South Africa and the Western Cape. HIV/AIDS effects people from all walks of life, and your donation can make a dramatic difference to the lives of those effected and their families.

The relevant links in each section will provide additional information, and will ensure that your donation and payment information are secure.

If you have any question about donating, please call us at +27 21 938 9930 or email us to admin@hopecapetown.com (Mrs. Kerstin Behlau).

As mentioned there are many ways to give hope via HOPE Cape Town. All are listed here and briefly described. The respective link will bring you to more information and leads the way to donate in a secure way.

Online Donations

Donation via cheque and mail

It is possible to donate by sending us a cheque. Please don’t put money in an envelope as South Africa’s postal system is not reliable. Cross the cheque and make it payable to HOPE Cape Town Trust. Please don’t forget to give us your name and address if you require a receipt and acknowledgement.

We also would be honoured to receive in this way a contribution in honour of an individual or in memory of a family member who has passed away. You can mention the name of the person on the online form and even give us an address and a name to whom we should send a letter of acknowledgement on your behalf.

Send the donation to:

Donation via EFT, bank transfer or monthly debit order

This is a very secure way of donating money. You can donate via online banking, EFT, or even a monthly debit order if you wish. The debit order can be stopped at any time should you no longer wish to continue donating.

We also would be honoured to receive in this way a contribution in honour of an individual or in memory of a family member who has passed away. You can mention the name of the person on the online form and even give us an address and a name to whom we should send a letter of acknowledgement on your behalf.

Please email your details to treasurer@hopecapetown.com if you need a receipt and acknowledgement.

My School Card, PayPal and Frequent Flyer Programs

Payback Card

In Germany, the payback card from Galleria Kaufhof and Karstadt and other fine shops is a free and convenient way of collecting points when you do your shopping. At the end of the year you can donate your points to HOPE Cape Town. You will get your card either in one of the participating shops or online via www.payback.de.

My School Card

The South African equivalent is the “my school card”. Please inquire with Mrs. Kerstin Behlau from our office (admin@hopecapetown.com) how to collect points for HOPE Cape Town while going shopping.

PayPal

PayPal is a safe and convenient way of transferring money. In case you need a donation receipt please let us know in the box “special instructions to seller”. We will send it to the address you provided in your PayPal account. Please note that via PayPal we are only able to issue South African donation receipts.

Frequent Flyer Programs

Many airlines have frequent flyer programs that give the opportunity for you to donate your miles to others to support their travel. HOPE Cape Town has connections worldwide and there are conferences, workshops and meetings around the world which are important to attend in order to be on top of new developments. Skype and teleconferences cannot substitute for personal interaction or the attendance of important conferences. If you feel that you can share your miles with us, please contact us via admin@hopecapetown.com to receive the relevant account details for your miles donation.

This applies to other frequent flyer programs as well.
